For its April – May exhibition, 701 Center for Contemporary Art in Columbia, S.C., presents

SC3D: An Exhibition of Three-Dimensional Art from South Carolina.

The exhibition will run from April 13 – May 29, 2011.

The opening reception is Wednesday, April 13, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., in conjunction with the kick-off events at 701 Whaley Street for the Nickelodeon’s annual Indie Grits Festival.

Admission is free to 701 CCA members, with a $5 suggested donation for non-members.

This catered, public reception is being held in conjunction with Indie Grits Festival kick-off events scheduled for the same evening at 701 Whaley. Join us!

Note: Paid admission to adjoining Indie Grits events is *not* necessary to attend the opening reception at 701 CCA.

The whole building will be buzzing with Indie Grits events! 701 Whaley is hosting the Nickelodeon Theater’s Indie Grits Festival kick-off, which includes the SC3D opening reception at 701 CCA, a screening of Tom Hall’s latest film, and “Slow Food at Indie Grits,” a sustainable chefs tasting party in the All-Local Farmers Market building.

It’s going to be an amazing spring night in Columbia, SC!
