Artfully placing shapes of colors on a canvas with focused attention to lights and darks, and warm colors next to cool and creating sharp and soft edges, allows me to tell a story with great pleasure. This process, at times a struggle, but more often a series of actions, proves to me again and again this thing called “painting” is a most precious blessing. There is beauty in everything, every object, and all people, and it is my passion to paint with an abundance of colors, allowing the one who sees the work to experience this joy.

Directions:
From the State Capitol in Columbia, take Main St. north for 1.5 blocks to 1332 Main St.; the Arcade Mall is between Lady St. & Washington St., with entry between “Wish” & “Salon Sole” stores. A second entrance is around the corner at 1216 Washington St., between Main St. & Sumter St. (The Washington St. entrance has one small step, about 2 inches high.)
