My work consists of constructions of bits of metal or wood combined with paint & arranged & fit together. I am drawn to an object because of its texture, color or surface. I think about how it got to be in the place that I found it; the circumstance in which it arrived at its location & its condition; how it is continually being shaped by each passing car or change of weather is curious.

From the State Capitol in Columbia, take Main St. north blocks 2, then turn right on Washington St.; large entry door is on the right. A second entrance is around the corner at 1332 Main St. (The Washington St. entrance has one small step, about 2 inches high.)
