I work primarily in oils & sometimes use pastels & pigment sticks. My paintings are usually colorful & have a sense of humor. I usually start a painting of something, & then it ends up being completely different. I don’t know if this is good or bad, but it makes for lots of layers showing through in the end. I normally paint on panels, unstretched canvas & paper.

Directions:
From the State Capitol in Columbia, take Main St. north for 1.5 blocks to 1332 Main St.; the Arcade Mall is between Lady St. & Washington St., with entry between “Wish” & “Salon Sole” stores. A second entrance is around the corner at 1216 Washington St., between Main St. & Sumter St. (The Washington St. entrance has one small step, about 2 inches high.)
