I am a Mockingbird. I sing many different songs when it comes to visual expression. I work in watercolor, mixed media & photography. My long career in graphic design informs my work with the use of type & handwriting. Sometimes, my mixed media takes the form of a hand-made book. I am intrigued with finding the inherent beauty in the ordinary & the mundane. I utilize found objects–natural or man-made–such as leaves, mica, and old bottle caps because I like their textures & vibrations.

From the State Capitol in Columbia, take Gervais Street (U.S. 1) east toward Harden St. 1 mile. Turn right at Harden St. & travel .6 miles into Five Points to Blossom St.; 2065 is first building on the right, located on the second floor directly above OOPs! Clothing Co. There is limited free parking available in the lot directly behind the building off of Blossom; entrance is bright red door.
