Technique feeds off of itself, and provides my inspiration. Rather than symbolic or thematic issues, the possibilities of technique are my greatest influence. Technique gives my images many voices, allowing my painting to speak to a person in incalculable ways. It is my technique that gives feeling to my painting, whether it is a sense of oneness with my landscapes, the mercurial feel of voyeurism in my figures, or the welcoming intensity to my interiors.

Directions:
From the State Capitol in Columbia, take Gervais Street (U.S. 1) to Assembly St to Elmwood to I-26. Take Harbison Blvd, exit 103, veer right and pass the malls. Take right onto St. Andrews Rd. past Irmo High School, take left on Wescott, 1st right onto Nursery Hill Rd., and 1st right onto Willow Creek Dr. (Murraywood Subdivision). Follow Willow Creek Dr. to Stillwater Dr. to brick house on the corner. Note: GPS will take you to opposite end of Stillwater.
