701 Center for Contemporary Art Announces CONWAY’S  YVETTE L. CUMMINGS WINS the 701 CCA PRIZE 2016 Conway, S.C., artist Yvette L. Cummings last night won the 701 CCA Prize 2016 for South Carolina artists 40 years and younger. Cummings was announced as the winner during the December 1 701 CCA Prize Celebration at Columbia’s 701 Center for Contemporary Art. About the 701 CCA Prize  The 701 CCA Prize, organized by 701 Center for Contemporary Art in Columbia, S.C., is biennial, juried art competition and exhibition for professional South Carolina artists 40 years of age or younger. The project’s purpose is to identify and recognize young artists whose work is exemplary in its originality, shows awareness of artistic developments and is of high artistic merit.
