During the 701 CCA Columbia Open Studios weekend April 21-22, 2012, thousands of people will venture out for a free tour of 69 artists’ studios in the Greater Columbia area (including all of Richland and Lexington Counties), with maps and artist info in hand.
Visitors can spend two full days hopping from studio to studio, with free admission for all.
Saturday, April 21, 10am-6pm and Sunday, April 22, 12pm-6pm

Enjoy a complimentary artisan grits bar by Scott Hall Catering & Event Design (owner of Bone-In Artisan BBQ on Wheels), soul, pop + indie DJs including Will Flourance, Station Manager at WUSC-FM radio, DJ Irv, and Brandon from Izms, live painting by Izms of Art, cash bar by The Whig featuring Stella Artois, make-your-own Lite Brite station, a slideshow of Columbia Open Studios artists, Indie Grits film trailers, an interactive map of Columbia & a DIY drawing rally inspired by the Shig-nanigans of Shigeharu Kobayashi at TedX Columbia!
