“Print It Again, Sam”: Printmaking

June 13-16

9:30 am-1:00 pm

Instructor:  Grace Linton Rockafellow

Lino cuts, found object printing, mono prints, silkscreens: What are they and which famous artists have used these printmaking techniques?  While learning about printmaking, students will create their own designs and reproduce them as prints. Following a found-object field trip, students will learn how to use their finds to create a print. A printed T-shirt with a student’s own design will be ready to go home with the rest of the portfolio created during the class.  $115

One t-shirt will be provided; please indicate T-shirt size on registration form.  Students may wish to bring on old shirt from home to practice on.
