Summer Camp Session 5: What Can Create a Print?

July 9 – 13, 2018 | 9:00 am – 1:00 pm | Ages 6 – 8

Members: $105; Non – Members: $120

This class will explore different printmaking techniques using recycled materials and the final project will be personalized book! The students will learn the basic techniques of relief, monoprint and screenprinting. The class is process oriented, where students will be encouraged to investigate different ways to create a print. Students will learn to recognize objects in nature and everyday items around them, along with the chemistry of marbleizing and experimenting with bookbinding using repurposed materials. The final project will be combining prints of the week into a unique book.
